EXPERT MEETING OF GEODETIC ADMINISTRATIONS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA AND THE FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

A professional meeting between the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and the State Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Croatia was held from August 27 to 29, 2025 in Tomislavgrad.

The meeting was officially opened by the directors, Mr. Željko Obradović and Mr. Antonio Šustić, who gave opening addresses and brief presentations on the current activities in the land administration sector. Ms Anđa Zimić, a representative of the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority (Lantmäteriet) and an advisor on the project Digital Enhancement of Land Management for the European Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DELEF) also participated in the meeting.

The two-day program was divided into two thematic sessions, including expert presentations, time for discussions and the exchange of experiences. Representatives from the State Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Croatia presented the Digital Geodetic Elaborate and the data exchange process, as well as the organizational structure of the administration. On the other hand, representatives from the Federal Geodetic Administration presented their latest activities, including the GIVE project – Geospatial Infrastructure and Valuation Enhancement Project, the Sales Price Register application, and the results of the completed Real Estate Registration Project.

The professional part of the meeting concluded with an informal social program, which contributed to strengthening mutual cooperation and building both professional and friendly relationships among the participants.
