EIGHTH PLENARY MEETING OF UN-GGIM EUROPE

Eighth Plenary meeting of UN- GGIM Europe was held during 13 and 14 October and gathered several executives of geodetic administrations and statistical agencies of EU member states as well as other countries, as well as international geospatial experts from the entire European region. Considering that this year’s meeting was held online, more member states were offered the opportunity for participation.

The meeting was oppened by Mr. Tomaz Petek, Chairman of the UN-GGIM Steering Committee: Europe and Director of Surveying and Mapping Authority Republic of Slovenia. On behalf the Federal Geodetic Administration participated Mr. Denis Tabucic, Assistant Director.

During this two-day event was discused on:

1. UN-GGIM look in the future
2. UN-GGIM Europe in step with the changing environment
3. IGIF implementation
4. Working with our UN-GGIM european partners
5. Formal bussines
