DONOR MEETING OF THE PROJECT REPRESENTATIVES AND WORLD BANK REPRESENTATIVES

Donor meeting with the World Bank representatives was held in premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on 18 October 2017. Representatives of the CILAP and Norwegian project, the European Commision representative and representatives of Administrations from both entities attended this meeting.

The Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, Mr. Željko Obradović informed participants about projects news and activities. A confirmation from the FBiH Government is expecting in the foreseeable future regarding the RERP Project extension, the Norwegian project is ending by the end of this year, and activities for the new phase of this project were already agreed and approved, and the CILAP II Project activities will last till the end of 2019. It is also important to mention the IMPULSE Project which provides support in spatial data infrastructure. The Director of the Republic Authority for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, Mr. Miloš Komljenović also welcomed all participants and pointed out good cooperation between Administrations.

Mr. Helge Onsrud, the Norwegian Geodetic Administration representative, informed about the Norwegian Project implementation and good cooperation with both Administrations. The Norwegian project provides support to software for digital archive and hardware support.

The European Commission in Bosnia and Herzegovina representative, Mrs. Dženita Polić, informed the participants about the projects funded by the European Union and mention the most prominent sectors that finances.

Mrs. Anđa Zimić, CILAP Project Director, pointed out positive experiences and good cooperation with both Administrations and notified that the main goal of this project is to make the Land Administration more efficient and safer, and informed participants about all project components (support the strengthening of land administration organizations, human resource development and relevant legal framework and project management, support the address register establishment, support the sales price register establishment, support the geodetic infrastructure development, support the ICT and geoinformatic systems development, and support the digital archive development).
