The Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, Mr. Željko Obradović, together with associates, visited today the facility that is being purposefully renovated and adapted within the GIVE Project (Geospatial Infrastructure and Valuation Enhancement, IBRD 96760-BA) to serve as the future archival repository of the FGA.
The renovation and adaptation works are financed through the GIVE Project, which is being implemented with the support of the World Bank. The facility is intended for the long-term preservation of geodetic and other archival records of the FGA under controlled conditions, ensuring appropriate standards for the storage and protection of documentation of permanent value.
In addition to storage areas for archival materials, the facility will include supporting office and utility spaces, as well as a server room, making the repository fully functional and equipped to meet the requirements of modern archival records management.
The works are in their final phase, and the facility is expected to become operational by the end of 2026.
