Coordination Meeting Held as Part of the GIVE Project

Within the implementation of the GIVE project, a meeting was held at the premises of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo dedicated to the continuation of harmonization activities and the preparation of the next steps in the municipalities of Ilidža and Ilijaš. The meeting was attended by the President of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, Mr Damir Batotić, the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža, Mr Nermin Muzur, the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilijaš, Mr Amar Dovadžija, with associates, as well as the Assistant Directors of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs, Mr Denis Tabučić and Mr Sead Hadžić.

The meeting addressed the continuation of the harmonization process in the aforementioned municipalities, as well as the next operational steps necessary for the successful implementation of the planned activities. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of full coordination between the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, local self-government units, and the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, with the aim of ensuring the efficient and timely implementation of all planned tasks.

During the meeting, the approach and model for inter-institutional cooperation in implementing the land registry replacement activities were fully agreed upon. The participants confirmed their joint commitment to carry out this process in a coordinated manner and in accordance with the jurisdiction of all relevant institutions involved, with the expectation that the cadastral phase will commence in the near future.

The meeting represents an important step in the continued implementation of the GIVE Project and confirms the readiness of all relevant stakeholders to contribute, through a partnership-based approach, to the improvement of land administration and legal certainty in the municipalities of Ilidža and Ilijaš.
