The signatories shall ensure required communications equipment for cross-border data sharing cooperation (e.g., renting the lines, Internet/VPN).

The agreed reference stations data sharing will be performed in the format of unprocessed data with 1-second interval in the appropriate format that will depend on the type of software that is in use at the control center, while the mutual data sharing will not be charged. The agreement was signed for five years and it will be automatically extended upon expiry of five years by a consecutive one-year period, unless it is terminated by any of the signatories by a written notice to another signatory one year in advance.

As a result of this agreement, FBIHPOS network is richer for two new stations, which are located in Dubrovnik and Županja. Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs plans to achieve further progress in this field through a regional project that is currently in its preparatory phase. The plan is to establish a regional analysis center for Western Balkans, which can ultimately become an important part of the European Permanent GNSS Stations Network.
