Agreement on transfer of use right on software to maintain Address register data

Fort the purpose of joint implementation of project regarding Address register establishment in Municipality of Ljubuški and in accordance with planned activities for implementation of the Project "Capacity building for improving Land Administration and procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina (CILAP)", Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs together with Municipality of Ljubuški have signed an Agreement on transfer of use right on software to maintain Address register data on June 30,2016.

The contract was signed by Mr. Željko Obradović, director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, and Mr. Nevenko Barbarić, Mayor of Municipality Ljubuški. The signatories on this occasion have expressed satisfaction with mutual understanding and willingness for cooperation, which is in the common interest of local self-government units and Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.

Next steps will include conversion of existing data, installation of application for establishment and management of the address register system, training for its use, regular maintenance of software and support during work, which will ensure regular data replication in planned central database of the Federation.

The ultimate goal of the CILAP project is introduction of unified system for Address register management within city and municipal administrations, which will allow regulation of this area and solve many problems associated with the work of local and central administrations. The development of fully operational Address system is one of the most important preconditions for the establishment of functional and well-organized society.
