Activities on establishment of address register under CILAP project

„Street and Square Naming, Building Numbering and Address Register Establishment for Part of the Territory of the Municipality of Čitluk Project“ was symbolically launched on 26 September 2014 by placement of a house number plaque on the building of the Municipality of Čitluk. The plaque was placed by Mr. Ivo Jerkić, Mayor of the Municipality of Čitluk, in the presence of Mr. Željko Obradović, Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBiH, Mme Anđa Zimić, Director of the CILAP Project, and Mr. Ivan Lesko, Director of the Cantonal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs. The project foresees placement of ca 250 street and square name plates and ca 2,400 house number signs on the territories of the inhabited places of Čitluk, Međugorje, and Bijakovići. Required documents and an address register will be developed under the project in accordance with the Law on Manner of Marking and Recording Inhabited Places, Streets, Squares and House Numbers of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. As part of implementation of this project, an application for establishment and maintenance of address register, which was developed earlier under the CILAP Project, will be tested. Upon completion of the project, the experiences gained through its implementation will be presented to representatives of the units of the local self-governments in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to systematically embark on establishment of an address register. The Municipality of Čitluk and the CILAP Project jointly finance this project.
