Activities Coordination and Donor Projects Presentation

As part of a regular mission by the World Bank representatives under Bosnia and Herzegovina Real Estate Registration Project (RERP) and in the organization and the premises of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FGA FBiH), a joint meeting of the donors assisting development of land administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on 16 May 2014. The meeting was attended by representatives of FGA FBiH, RGA RS and representatives of the World Bank team. As for the donors, the meeting was attended by representatives of CILAP Project, which is funded by the Swedish Development Agency – Sida, and representatives of the Norwegian cadastre agency „Statens Kartverket“.

The meeting was opened by FGA FBiH Director, Željko Obradović, who emphasized major importance of the donor projects for the geodetic administrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a desire for even a higher number of donors to become involved and support the development of land administration. On behalf of RGA RS, the gathering was addressed by Darko Mišković, Director of RERP Project Implementation Unit and CILAP Project Coordinator in RGA RS.

CILAP Project Director, Anđa Zimić, presented the achievements of the Project since the last mission, i.e., in 2014. Some of the most important achievements include a developed application for the address registry, relative gravimetry network project and launch of measurements campaign, digital archive development strategy and plans. The fact that draft communications strategies were prepared was also noted, as well as implementation of the real estate mass valuation pilot projects. The exceptional cooperation with the geodetic administrations and the Norwegian donor project was especially emphasized.

Director of „Statens Kartverketa“ Project, Helge Onsrud, presented an overview of the project activities, especially highlighting the achievements on development of an IT strategy for FGA FBiH, procurement of the equipment for development of the digital archive and the upcoming activities on development of an application for the digital archive in cooperation with CILAP Project.
