A Visit by the World Bank Task Team

The World Bank Task Team visited Bosnia and Herzegovina on 12 – 16 May 2014 to review progress of implementation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Real Estate Registration Project. The World Bank Team was led by Team Leader, Mr. Mika Petteri Törhönen, while the Team also included specialists for legal, cadastral and social aspects of the Project, as well as procurement and financial specialists.

The World Bank representatives met in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina during this mission with Mr. Željko Obradović, Director of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBiH, Mr. Nedžad Pašalić, Head of the Project Implementation Unit, members of the Unit and representatives of Federal Ministry of Justice of FBiH and Federal Ministry of Finance of FBiH.

The objective of the mission was to review the activities of the Real Estate Registration Project in the initial period and the progress achieved so far. The World Bank Task Team expressed exceptional satisfaction with the progress of the Project in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the cooperation with the Project Implementation Unit.

It was agreed that the next comprehensive mission is to be carried out by the World Bank Team in early October 2014.
