A regular annual Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure was held in Skopje

In Skopje (Macedonia), a regular annual Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure was held on June 8-9, 2017. This year's session is the tenth in a row, starting from Year 2008 when the first establishing Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure was held in Opatija.

Members of this Regional Conference are cadastral and mapping agencies of South East Europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania). From this Year as a member of this Regional Conference is Geodetic Administration of Bulgaria.

This year's Conference, in addition to representatives of cadastre and mapping agencies, gathered also representatives of the private sector, surveying companies, chambers and universities.

Guests of this year's Conference were also representatives of the geodetic administrations of Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands as well as representatives CLGE's (Council of European Geodetic Surveyors).

During the Conference, the current activities of the Land Administration Sector in the region, with special emphasis on cooperation between geodetic institutions, private and educational sectors were analysed.

Discussions with representatives of donors regarding the continuation of currents projects as well as possibility of new projects related to Land Administration sector were particular topics during the Conference.

Mr. Nedim Hadžiosmanović has presented the activities and expectations the Federal Geodetic Administration on behalf of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs. The Conference was also attended by Mr. Željko Obradović, director who spoke about the current situation and vision of the geodetic sector in the Federation BiH on specifically organized roundtable.
