WORKING MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF MUNICIPALITY OF TEŠANJ

A meeting regarding distribution of address data was held with representatives of Municipality of Tešanj in the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs (FGA) on 9 November 2017.

The meeting was attended by representatives of both institutions led by Mr. Željko Obradović, the Director of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, and Mr. Suad Huskić, the Mayor of Tešanj Municipality.

At the meeting were discussed ways of improving the functioning of the Address register system, as well as opportunities for formal distribution of data to all interested parties and public presentation of data of Municipality of Tešanj on Geoportal that is established by the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.

The Director of the FGA informed the Mayor and his associates of the importance of the Address register data, with the emphasis on the distribution of same, which will be the foundation for a better relationship between the Address register with navigation systems, the citizens of the Municipality, as well as with the Central Election Commission and the The Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) in BiH.

Also, the possibilities of improving the existing geoinformation system of the Municipality of Tešanj have been analysed, and in terms of the public presentation of the Address register data. As a result of the meeting, guidelines for future co-operation have been agreed on which both sides will work intensively.
