WORKING MEETING AND PRESENTATION ON THE TOPIC OF ESTABLISHING THE ADDRESS REGISTER

On December 19, 2017 a working meeting was held in Municipality of Stari Grad. The meeting was attended by representatives of all services that will directly or indirectly participate in the activities carried out through this project, and members of working Group of CILAP project Component 2, related to the Address Register. The topics of the meeting were: an analysis of the existing settlement system and development of division plan of the streets and squares for all settlements in accordance with the Law. The steps that should follow in establishing the Address Register were presented, which are the creation of street polygons, as well as the adoption of municipal decision making on the address system. On this occasion, presentations related the relevant project activities were held.

Initiatives for the establishment, maintenance and distribution of address data in the FBiH area has been initiated by the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs with the support of the CILAP project and in cooperation with the local government units. The aim is to introduce a central Address Register, which will provide address management in a unique, functional and well-mannered way, with the collection of all data in the central database, as well as active work on determining house numbers, settlements and streets.
