VISIT OF THE PROJECT MANAGER OF DELEF PROJECT

The project manager from Lantmäteriet- the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority, Mrs. Jenny Svennewall, visited the premises and staff of the Federal Geodetic Administration, during the working week of February 5-9, 2024. Mrs. Svennewall will work as a permanent project manager in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and her arrival will focus on the DELEF project, which plays a significant role in the land administration sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The four main areas for support are:

1. Overall Capacity Development,
2. Mass valuation,
3. Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) and
4. Geodetic Infrastructure.

The project purpose is overall capacity development of the project partners and thereby contribute to their transformation into modern, technologically developed, reliable and efficient public administration bodies. Administrations that collect information for which they are responsible ensure easy availability and transparency for all users in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In order to ensure capacity development and achieve sustainable change, the project will focus on effective learning and clearly measurable results.

This visit proves the continued progress in cooperation between Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of surveying profession and land administration sector. The DELEF project will have long-term positive effects on the land management and spatial data in our country.
