VISIT OF STUDENTS FROM BRČKO SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL

On 8 May 2017 third and fourth grade geodetic students from Brčko Secondary Technical School visited the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs. The visit was organized in the annual school programme as a one- day excursion.

Mr. Denis Tabučić, a Geoinformatic sector employee, gave a presentation to the students and introduced them to the organisation and it's work, responsabilities of the Administration and it's current projects. Since most students are planning to continue their education at the Faculty of Civil Engineering- Geodetic Department, they found the presentation of Mr. Eldin Đonlagić, Assistant Director for Surveying, Land Consolidation and Mapping extremely useful and encouraging. He told the students what they could expect at the Faculty and listed important points that would help them in their future education.

Both students and teachers asked the speakers numerous questions, mainly about how the Cadastral sector functions, and especially about the Geoinformatic sector because this subject is not included in the school's curriculum.

This visit was useful for all students, especially those who plan to study at the Geodetic Department of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
