Visit of Mayor of Bosanski Petrovac Municipality to Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH

The technical documentation that will be used for the establishment of the new survey for the three cadastral municipalities in Bosanski Petrovac was handed over to the Mayor of the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac, Zlatko Hujić, and his associates from the Physical Planning Department.

With this handover of the documentation for the three cadastral municipalities, Kolunić, Bara, and Rašinovac, the process of establishing the land registers of real estate titles in the territory of these cadastral municipalities in Bosanski Petrovac began.

„This is an important moment and I must thank the Federal Administration and its Director Obradović for fulfilling the promise that we were going to be provided with help, in cooperation with the Geodetic Institute of BH, with the handover of the documentation for these three cadastral municipalities, which was made during the visit to the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac last December. With this handover of the documentation and implementation of the procedures in the Land Registry Office of the Municipal Court in Bihać, the land registers for Kolunić, Bara, and Rašinovac will be established in a few months“, said Mayor Zlatko Hujić.

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs will provide technical assistance through its officers, who will work together with the staff of the Cadastre Office of the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac to prepare the documentation that was handed over to them.

„These steps that we are taking to establish the land registers have immeasurable importance. The citizens, primarily the property owners in these three cadastral municipalities, will feel very soon the benefits, because their properties will be imprinted with the seal of ownership for good. We must shift the paradigm of how we refer to these properties. They will no longer be their patrimony. We will create the conditions that they instead become genuinely theirs, both on paper and in their souls“ – explained Mayor Hujić.

During the visit to the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of the FBH and the Geodetic Institute of BH, Mayor Hujić agreed that once the documentation handed over so far for the three cadastral municipalities of Kolunić, Rašinovac, and Bara has been processed, the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac will continue with these activities for the territory of the remaining cadastral municipalities in the whole territory of the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac.
