THE WORLD BANK SUPERVISION MISSION'S VISIT TO THE FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The World Bank Supervision Mission is visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. As part of this visit, the Supervision Mission will be staying in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 5-11 June 2015. The objective of this visit is to review implementation progress and forthcoming activities in the continuation of successful implementation of the Real Estate Registration Project. The World Bank Supervision Mission is led by Mr. Mika Torhonen and Mr. Camille Bourguignon.

The Mission met with Mr. Željko Obradović, Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of the FBH, Mr. Mato Jozić, Minister of Justice in the Cabinet of the Government of the FBH, Mr. Nedžad Pašalić, Head of the Project Implementation Unit, and the Unit's staff. The representatives of the competent institutions of the Federation of BH highlighted their readiness to continue active participation in successful implementation of the Real Estate Registration Project going forward, and the Supervision Mission members expressed their satisfaction with the Project's progress in the Federation of BH so far.

The World Bank Supervision Mission members will be holding a series of thematic meetings with representatives of the institutions of the Federation of BH and the Real Estate Registration Project Implementation Unit in the FBH. Site visits to the Municipality of Tešanj and the Land Registry Office of the Municipal Court in Tešanj are planned as part of this stay of the World Bank Mission in the FBH, in order to review activities on harmonization of property records between the cadastre and the land register on the ground.

A wrap-up meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 10th, in the offices of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of the FBH, which will be followed by a joint meeting of the competent institutions and the Supervision Mission members with representatives of the donors on Thursday, June 11th.
