The portal "Public access of Sales Price Register data of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina" was officially put into operation

On 5 June 2018, the portal "Public access of Sales Price Register data of the Federation of BH" was officially put into operation. The main objective of public presentation of Sales Price Register data of the Federation of BiH as official and available real estate market records in the Federation BH is to increase the transparency of the real estate market i.e. to obtain realistic insight of real estate market and its developments/ trends, which is one of market is a base for economic development and investment and EU accession.

The Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs Mr. Željko Obradović opened the ceremony and at the beginning emphasized that this is a good project for stabilization and transparency of the real estate market in BiH. Director pointed out that from Year 2013 there is access to cadastral data in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from Year 2016, there is access into the real estate ownership status of the Federation of BiH, and from today public access to real estate transaction data in the Federation BH. Director Obradović also pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina today joined a group of European countries with a Sales Price Register and the final result will be mass valuation of real estates in BiH.

Mr. Šerif Isović, Director of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, said that this Project will provide a transparent insight into all real estate transactions, which will affect a more realistic and fairer determination of tax bases for the calculation of real estate transaction tax and that the Sales Price Registry will also have an impact on a more uniform work of municipal commissions for real estate valuation.

Mrs. Andja Zimić, Director of the CILAP project, expressed her satisfaction with the achieved project results and the excellent cooperation between the direct project partners, the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority (Lantmateriet), the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.

Mr. Anders Hagelberg, His Excellency Swedish Ambassador in BiH expressed satisfaction and honour to have the opportunity to participate in opening ceremony, and at the same time noted that transparent prices are vital for a functional real estate market. Buyers and sellers earn profits if they know prices on the market and such a market becomes more functional, efficient and fair.

In the second part of the Ceremony the experiences from the Kingdom of Sweden, Slovenia and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding Sales Prices Register were presented by Mr. Hans Söderblom, Mr. Dušan Mitrović and Miss Jelena Zelić.

Prior to the official opening of the portal "Public access of Sales Price Register data of the Federation of BiH ", Mrs. Jelka Milićević, Federal Minister of Finance addressed the audience and emphasized that this Register is seen as a good foundation for the management of financial resources from the Budget, in particular the merits of social benefits.

The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Fadil Novalić at the end of the Ceremony officially released the portal “Public access of Sales Price Register data of the Federation of BH" and also emphasized that this Project is one of the bases of economic development and investment and future accession to the European Union!
