THE EXTRAORDINARY EUROGEOGRAPHICS GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The extraordinary EuroGeographics General Assembly was held on 29th April 2020 through online communication platform. On the Assembly participated over 72 delegates from 50 agencies from Europe.

This way of alternative communication method gave the members insight into financial accounts and the information about the EuroGeographics knowledge exchanging network (KEN) run and developed for various business units.

The following topics are covered:

1. Information about the ongoing EuroGeographics activities
2. Presentation on values and benefits for the EG members
3. The activities of the knowledge exchanging network (KEN)
4. The role and importance of the EuroGeographics permanent correspondents

The EuroGeographics voting methodology for the adoption of the Association's final financial accounts for 2019 was also presented in order for them to be registered with a competent commercial court in Belgium.

On behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs participated Mr. Denis Tabucic, Assistant Director.

It is very important to mention that the next General Assembly will be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2020 and the organization of the event will depend directly on the circumstances surrounding the Corona virus pandemic (COVID-19).
