Study visit within CILAP project Component 5: Support to the development of ICT and geoinformation systems

In accordance with the CILAP project annual work and time plan a study visit to the headquarters of Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority) was organized in Gavle, The Kingdom of Sweden. The working visit took place during June 12 - 16, 2017.

During this visit, the participants had the opportunity to obtain detailed information on the most important segment of Lantmateriet’s IT sector activities like:

1. IT-business (Servers, Databases, Data storage, identity access management, networks, management of mobile devices)
2. IT-development (development models, testing, development tools, Network and system architecture, products, integration)
3. IT maintenance (maintenance organization, model of maintenance, Service portal, e-services and their monitoring, Intranet)
4. IT innovation
5. SWEPOS (network of GNSS permanent stations)
