PUBLIC HEARING ABOUT THE DRAFT LAW ON CONSTRUCTION LAND

First public hearing about the draft Law on Construction Land was held in official premises of city of Mostar in co-organization of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and Association of cities and municipalities of the Federation of BiH.

Besides the Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs Mr. Zeljko Obradovic and Assistant Director Mr. Goran Brkic, at the session attended representatives of the Association of cities and municipalities of Herzegovina- Neretva Canton, West Herzegovina Canton, Canton 10 and representative of the Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of Herzegovina- Neretva Canton. The representatives from the ministries for Spatial Planning from mention Cantons did not respond to this session.

All participants was included in the discussion, mainly professionals dealing with property and urban planning in municipal bodies. The first session in City of Mostar was marked by a dynamic discussion regarding the directives important for the systematic regulation of the area of construction land, especially on definitions and formulations of ownership transformation directives, charge on construction land, as well as rights and obligations of municipalities and owners of construction land towards each other.

As a Law processor, the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs expects that the session in City of Mostar, as well as the sessions co-organized with the Association of municipalities and cities of FBiH planned in Tuzla, Bihac and Sarajevo, will be an important contribution to the overall public debate process.
