Memorandum of Cooperation between Western Balkans Agencies for Cadastre, Cartography and Spatial Data Infrastructure was signed in Neum within XII Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure

A Memorandum of Cooperation between Western Balkans Agencies for Cadastre, Cartography and Spatial Data Infrastructure was signed within XII Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure on 4-6 September 2019.

The signatures of the Memorandum are directors of ten cadastral and cartographic agencies of Western Balkans. Main purpose of the signed Memorandum is strengthening cooperation and exchange information, strengthening of institutional capacity, building a regional cooperation network, common access to EU funds and other financial and donor organizations, managing projects of regional importance, organization of symposiums, workshops and international promotion of projects of regional importance and other activities of common interest to signatory agencies.

In that purpose, a standing technical committee will be established, with the Rules of Procedure as an integral part of the Memorandum. The signatory agencies will appoint the persons responsible for the implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum.
