Meeting with the World Bank Representatives

A meeting between the representatives of the Administration and the World Bank Team, represented by the World Bank Country Manager for BH, Tatiana Proskuryakova, Zafar Ahmed, Jasmina Hadžić, and Sanela Ljuca, was held on 02 April 2015 in the offices of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of the FBH. The Administration's Director, Željko Obradović, the Director of the “RERP” Project Implementation Unit, Nedžad Pašalić, and a Consultant, Samira Leskovac, briefed the representatives of the World Bank on the current status of the implementation of the World Bank credit funded “Real Estate Registration Project”. The main project component, involving land register and cadastre data harmonization, is demanding and requires good cooperation of the cadastre and land registry offices. Harmonized, accurate, and secure property records are the foundation for the overall economic progress of the BH society as a whole. All planned activities are implemented in accordance with the approved Procurement Plan, and good cooperation of the representatives of the Administration and the World Bank Team was highlighted, as well as the need for even better institutional cooperation in order to achieve the best possible results with the project.

The World Bank Team expressed their satisfaction with the institutional and systematic approach to the implementation of the project.
