MEETING AND PRESENTATION WITHIN CILAP PROJECT COMPONENT 6: “SUPPORT TO THE DIGITAL ARCHIVE ESTABLISHMENT”

A two-day meeting was held in Municipality of Gradačac from 19 to 20 February 2018 as part of the CILAP project Component 6 planned activities- Support to the digital archive establishment. The topics of the meeting were the current status of the pilot project implementation of document scanning in the Municipality of Gradačac and the informative presentation of the system to other local self-government units in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A meeting with the representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs and CILAP project, contractor for development of Digital archive IT system- company Gauss and representatives of Municipality of Gradačac, was held in the premises of Municipality of Gradačac on 19 February 2018. The meeting considered the current status of implementation digital archive software of FBiH, as well as the status of implementation of document scanning project in Municipality of Gradačac.

A visit to the Municipality of Gradačac Scan center and a seminar about the establishment of a digital archive system were organized on 20 February 2018. The seminar was attended by representatives of 12 local self-government units in FBiH. After introductory address by Assistant Mayor for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs in Municipality of Gradačac Mr. Fedrid Durmišević, representatives was also welcomed by Assistant Director for Geoinformatics Mr. Nedžad Pašalić and Director of CILAP project Mrs. Anđa Zimić. Representative of Gauss Company Mr. Almir Karabegović held a presentation about the main functionalities of the digital archive software.

Then followed the presentation of the Municipality of Gradačac representatives, where the experiences of the municipality Gradačac were presented during the realization of the project. Employee of Geoinformatics Sector Mr. Denis Tabučić held a final presentation, stating that the Norwegian project provided funds for the continuation of the development of a digital archive system and the first steps would be to involve local self-government units in the FBiH. Work will also be done on integration with other systems, and training and capacity building for the implementation of these activities will be ensured through the CILAP project.
