INCLUSION OF THE NEW MUNICIPALITIES IN THE FBiH ADDRESS REGISTER SYSTEM

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and CILAP project organized an working metting which marked beginning of official implementation of the Address register in the municipalities Kladanj and Olovo on 26 February 2018. The meeting was attended by representatives of all the services that will directly, or indirectly participate in the project activities.

Presentation related to the relevant project activities was held by Mrs. Željka Kolobarić, coordinator of the working group for the Address Register establishmentin FBiH. The steps that should follow in the Address Register establishing were presented, creation of the street polygons, as well as the adoption of municipal decision making on the address system.They were acquainted with the contractual obligations and phases of the Address Register establishing. An application for establishing and managing the Address Register was also briefly presented.

The benefits of the Address Register establishment were highlighted at the end of the meeting.The CILAP project final goal is the implementation of a unified system for managing of address register, which will provide address management in a unique, functional and well-mannered way, with the collection of all data in the central database, as well as active work on determining house numbers, settlements and streets.

In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 65 local self-government units are currently in the implementation of Address Register system.
