IMPULS Project Steering Committee Meeting and National Coordinators Workshop Held

A meeting of the IMPULS Project Steering Committee and a workshop for the project national coordinators were held on 29-30 April 2015 in Zagreb, the Republic of Croatia.

The agenda for the meeting of the Project Steering Committee included several ongoing activities that were agreed on between the agencies participating in the project on this occasion. Therefore, the Project Implementation Report for the First Quarter of 2015 was adopted, general endorsement of the regional spatial data sharing agreement was agreed on, and a series of future improvements was proposed in order to further ensure successful implementation of the project. Also, all participating directors briefed on this occasion through brief presentations their counterparts from the region on ongoing activities, initiatives, and projects in each of the agencies.

The workshop for the IMPULS Project national coordinators, in which the proposals for improvements were discussed, the work plan for 2015 was agreed on, the participation in the coming INSPIRE conference was specified, and many other topics were discussed, served at the same time as preparation for the meeting of the Steering Committee.

The State Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Croatia, which is an implementation partner to Lantmäteriet (the Swedish geodetic administration) on this project, hosted these events. The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH was represented on this occasion by Director Željko Obradović – member of the IMPULS Project Steering Committee, and Denis Tabučić – Project Coordinator.
