Continuation of dialog regarding CILAP project phasing out with Lantmäteriet’s top Management

According to the agreement from the last meeting of the CILAP project Steering committee, representatives of Lantmäteriet namely, Mr. Anders Lundquist Deputy Director General and Mr. Anders Sandin, Head of Geodata Division have visited the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and held several meetings with management of entity geodetic administrations and representatives of Swedish Embassy.

A meeting with directors of entity geodetic administrations, Mr. Željko Obradović and Ms. Bosiljka Predragović was held on 22 May 2019. It was discussed about the cooperation between entity geodetic administrations and Lantmäteriet, and special attention is devoted to conversation about the CILAP project Phasing out from 2020 to 2022.

The joint meeting between the representatives of entity geodetic administrations, representatives of Lantmäteriet and the representatives of Swedish Embassy Ms. Marie Bergström, and Mr. Nedim Bukvić was held on 23 May 2019. On the meeting were presented activities regarding CILAP project Phasing out, four planned components, main goals and the findings and recommendations of the external consultant Mr. Mykhailo Cheremshynsky who made the evaluation of the CILAP project Phasing out document.

Ms. Marie Bergström representative of the Swedish Embassy pointed out good cooperation of the representatives of entity geodetic administrations with Swedish Embassy and Lantmäteriet, also the positive impact of the CILAP project for society in general. She also stressed that the results so far have been a good basis for the project continuation, and that it’s necessary to ensure the sustainability of all the project goals achieved so far.
