Component 7 Workshop Held: Establishment of a Digital Archive

Under „Capacity Building for Improvement of Land Administration and Procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina“ project (CILAP), a twinning project of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, Republic Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of the Republika Srpska and Lantmäteriet (Swedish geodetic authority), a workshop within its Component 7 on establishment of a digital archive was organized in Banja Luka , from 1-3 April 2014.

The objectives of the workshop were:
1. reviewing the digital archive strategies proposed for adoption by the geodetic authorities’ managements (discussion on the changes introduced by the managements);
2. building capacities to manage digital data storage and archive;
3. supporting with definition of the processes for conversion of the records and classification schemes based on inventories in both geodetic authorities;
4. implementation plan for the pilot projects in the selected offices in line with the collected information on the documents that are in everyday use.
