ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ADDRESS REGISTER PROJECT COMPLETION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TEŠANJ

The Address Register was officially presented to the public in the premises of Municipality of Tešanj on 20 November 2017.

Mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Suad Huskić, welcomed the attendees with a brief overview of the results achieved so far. The importance of the organized and systematic marking of all buildings in the Municipality, as well as the establishment of an electronic database with all necessary data, were highlighted.

With the placement of the first number on the building of Municipality of Tešanj, in March 2016, the implementation of the Address register started. A total number of 15 182 were set up during the implementation. Also, data collection was carried out for the purpose of social map development, which will be basis for various analyses. The importance and needs of the society for the Address Register establishment have been pointed out and the procedure for its establishment was described, as well as the results and challenges that will occur during the next period.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, namely Mr. Denis Tabučić, CILAP project coordinator for FBiH, Mrs. Željka Kolobarić, coordinator of the working group for the Address Register establishmentin FBiH, and representatives of CILAP project namely Mrs. Anđa Zimić, Director of CILAP and Mr. Šeho Zimić, technical advisor of CILAP, as well as representatives of institutions who will use this information in the future. At the end, Municipality have expressed gratitude for the project support to the FGA and CILAP representatives.
