Announcement of the 12th Regional conference on cadaster and spatial data infrastructure: The role of the national mapping and cadaster agencies and universities in the process of establishment and implementation of NSDI

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs organizes the 12^th Regional Conference on Cadaster and Spatial Data Infrastructure: The role of the national mapping and cadaster agencies and universities in the process of establishment and implementation of NSDI in City of Neum on 4-6 September 2019.

The 12^th Regional Conference on Cadaster and Spatial Data Infrastructure is traditionally organized by cadastral and cartographic agencies of Western Balkan region. Main goal of this conference is strengthening of regional cooperation, coordination of joint activities and projects, research on potential improvements in the land administration sector and presentation of current activities and achievements of individual agencies, and this form of cooperation began in Opatija in 2008.

The signing of the Memorandum on cooperation between the cadastral and cartographic agencies of the Western Balkans region countries is planned at the Conference, as well as presentation of the Regional Study on Cadaster and Spatial Data Infrastructure of the Western Balkans region. The Study was made for the eleventh time which showing the importance of regional cooperation and the value of sharing information.

Besides directors of the cadaster and cartographic agencies from the Western Balkans region, representatives of international organizations who finances donor and credit projects and activities will also attend the conference. Through their programs, international organizations have greatly supported the development of the land administration sector and the establishment of Spatial Data Infrastructure in the Western Balkan region.
