Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in BIH Mr. Anders Hagelberg visited the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs

The meeting between the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Anders Hagelberg and Mr. Željko Obradović, director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs (FGA) and his associates was held on December 2, 2016 in the FGA premises. The meeting was attended by the CILAP project director Ms. Anđa Zimić. Mr. Željko Obradović expressed gratitude to the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden for support to the Land Administration Sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), and wished a successful mandate to the Ambassador and presented current FGU activities, vision and mission.

CILAP project coordinator Mr. Denis Tabučić presented the status of CILAP project implementation and realization of project activities per components. The project has started in Year 2013 and will last until 2019. For the project implementation the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden donates approximately 6 million euros. The main project activity is technical support to the „Real Estate Registration Project” – RERP which activities are related to harmonization of land registry and cadastre data in urban areas of FBiH. Further, CILAP project supports the establishment of address register, sales price register, digital archive, gravimetric measurements and geoid determination for BiH.

It is important to emphasize that BiH and Sweden have a similar system of Land Administration and in the framework of CILAP project the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden and Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastre and land registration authority) provide support in capacity building of Land Administration in BiH.

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Mr. Hagelberg expressed satisfaction with the CILAP results so far, and stressed that the sector of Land Administration in BiH can count on continuous support of the Kingdom of Sweden.

At the end of visit director Obradović gave the first copy of the Bosnia and Herzegovina topographic map 1: 250 000 to the Ambassador of Sweden Mr. Anders Hagelberg.
