A PREPARATORY WORKING MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NORWEGIAN MAPPING AGENCY AND THE NORWEGIAN EMBASSY IN BiH

A preparatory working meeting with representatives of the Norwegian Mapping Agency and the Norwegian embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Mostar on 30 January 2018. The meeting was held in order to define the activities, the timeline for the implementation of a future project that will supported by both Entity Geodetic Administrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina -the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and Republic Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of RS as well as defining the formalization of cooperation - signature of the relevant agreement.

The planned Project will be a continuation of the extremely successful cooperation and implementation of the "Public Services for Real Estate Market and EU Integration" project, which was implemented in BiH through period 2013 - 2017 with the help of donor funds of the Kingdom of Norway.

Support for the period 2018 - 2020 will be given to the implementation of the Digital Archive IT system in a larger extent in the Federal Geodetic Administration as well as to larger number of local self-government units. The project also includes a component for improving the operation of GNSS permanent stations.

The support from Government of the Kingdom of Norway is also expected in the field of performing accuracy of high levelling measurements, which will be further discussed in the during April 2018.

On this occasion representatives of both geodetic administrations namely Mr. Denis Tabučić and Mr. Darko Mišković have presented the results of the previously implemented project.

On behalf of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs this meeting was attended by Mr. Željko Obradović, the FGA Director, Mr. Nedžad Pašalić, assistant director, Mr. Eldin Đonlagić, assistant director and Denis Tabučić, Project Coordinator. This preparatory meeting was also attended by representatives of the Swedish mapping, cadastre and land registration authority, namely Mr. Peter Wasstrom and Tobias Lundberg, and Ms. Anđa Zimić, director of the CILAP project in BiH with associates.
