A MEETING WITH THE BiH ARCHIVE MANAGEMENT

A meeting was held between representatives of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and Management Board of the BiH Archives, namely Mr. Saša Klepić, Director, and Mr. Šimun Novaković, Deputy Director of the BiH Archives in the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on 12 February 2018.

The meeting was organized in order to provide support for the implementation of a joint project related tothe scanning the archive documentation of the land administration records by the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs in RS and the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.

Both entity administration assisted by donor activities, intendto begin activities on scanning, storing and long-term preservation of archive material of interestwith the help of secured equipment and management staff. Both entity geodetic administrations in BiH have a challenge to ensure that land administration records are archived, protected, preserved and accessible whenever required by authorized users, internal and external, including the public in some cases.

On behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, the meeting was attended by Mr. Željko Obradović, Director, Mr. Nedžad Pašalić, Assistant Director and Head of the Geoinformation Sector and Mr. Denis Tabučić, Coordinator of CILAP Project for FBIH.
